Model History

 

Hamilton’s connection to military timekeeping dates back to the early twentieth century, while the civilian Khaki collection emerged during the 1980s as a continuation of the brand’s field-watch tradition. Its functional layouts, robust cases and highly legible dials drew directly from watches originally designed for military use.

 

Reference 6359 is a compact, neo-vintage quartz interpretation of the classic Hamilton field watch, most likely produced during the late 1990s. Its blue dial combines large luminous Arabic numerals with an inner 24-hour scale, a precise minute track and a date window at three o’clock. The sandblasted stainless-steel case and matching original bracelet reinforce its purposeful military-inspired character.

 

With its compact 33 mm diameter, reliable Swiss ETA quartz movement and strong luminous display, this discontinued Khaki model offers both everyday practicality and distinctive period styling.

Condition

 

The watch is in very good pre-owned condition. Its sandblasted stainless-steel case displays light surface scratches, small marks and minor signs of wear, particularly around the bezel and the edges of the case. 

 

The original bracelet shows corresponding scratches and signs of wear but remains complete and fully functional, including its integrated extension. The blue dial is clean and well preserved, with crisp printing and an attractive, even colour. The hands, Arabic numerals and hour markers retain strong, evenly glowing luminous material.

 

A new, scratch-free mineral crystal has been fitted. The original Hamilton-signed crown is present. The ETA quartz movement has been serviced and fitted with a new battery. The watch is water-resistant to 50 metres and is covered by a 6-month functionality guarantee.
