Model History
This elegant Longines dress watch was produced around 1969, when the brand offered a wide variety of refined, manually wound watches characterised by slim profiles and understated styling.
Reference 7823-7 combines a softly shaped tonneau-style stainless-steel case with a light champagne sunburst dial, slender black Roman numerals and a simple two-hand display. Its restrained design is complemented by the original finely woven Longines stainless-steel mesh bracelet and signed clasp.
At 33 mm in diameter, the watch reflects the proportions of a traditional late-1960s men’s dress watch while remaining equally suitable as a unisex vintage piece today.

Condition
The watch is presented in attractive vintage condition. Its stainless-steel case retains the combination of brushed and polished surfaces, with light scratches and signs of wear consistent with age and use.
The light champagne sunburst dial displays an appealing warm tone that can appear more silvery under direct light. The printed black Roman numerals remain clear.
The original Longines stainless-steel mesh bracelet is fitted with the original signed clasp. Both the bracelet and clasp show light scratches and signs of wear. The signed crown is retained, while the acrylic crystal is new and free from scratches.
The hand-wound Longines calibre 428 movement has been fully serviced, and the watch is supplied with a 6-month guarantee on functionality.
