Model History:
The Seiko 6139-8002 is a lesser-known yet deeply collectible chronograph from Seiko’s iconic Speed-Timer lineup, released exclusively for the Japanese Domestic Market (JDM). Part of the pioneering 6139 series - among the world’s first automatic chronographs - the 8002 variant stands out with its cushion-shaped case and elegant dial designs. The version offered here features a rare sunburst dial that shifts between blue, grey, and lilac hues depending on the light - adding a subtle sophistication to the classic sporty aesthetic. Equipped with the robust 6139 movement and the distinctive 30-minute chronograph register with a two-tone blue sector, this model is a fusion of Seiko’s technical innovation and Japanese design flair.
